Last month, I had the privilege of attending Columbia University’s Advanced Coaching Intensive (ACI). Thank you to Terry Maltbia and the rest of the 3CP team for making it happen!

What an experience!

There is something incredibly powerful about being in a room full of people committed to becoming the best versions of themselves—while dedicating their lives to helping others do the same. That intersection of personal mastery and service is what called me to coaching in the first place. Columbia’s program has not only met, but exceeded, my expectations in how rigorously and thoughtfully it prepares coaches.

Before we left, we were invited to reflect on three things:

1. An Appreciation
I shared my appreciation for the opportunity to write a research paper as part of the program. The process challenged me to articulate and refine a coaching framework grounded in the latest neuroscience on emotional intelligence and somatic awareness. At ACI, I was grouped with others drawn to “whole-person coaching”—leaders who believe transformation happens when we coach the person, not just the problem. Being surrounded by that depth of curiosity and commitment was so inspiring!

2. A Learning
Clarity. I feel called to expand into publishing and speaking, and I’m excited about boutique coaching and consulting opportunities where relational intelligence sits at the center of leadership and culture.

3. An Action
To continue nurturing the Columbia coaching community. The caliber of humans in that room—thoughtful, courageous, impact-driven—was a powerful reminder that meaningful work is never done alone.

Grateful for the magic, the momentum, and the unlimited potential within all of us.

We’re just getting started!!
